The Kromer 8241-06 is an INOX PRO rust-free zero-gravity tool balancer for tools weighing 165-198 lb - for example heavy process tooling and fixtures - and works equally with any other tool or fixture in that weight range. Constant retraction force means the tool floats weightless and stays exactly where the operator leaves it across the full 6.6 ft of cable travel, rather than being pulled back to a start position.

Built for washdown areas - meat and poultry processing, dairy, beverage and other food-industry lines that are hosed down at shift change - where a standard painted or plated unit corrodes and fails.

At 165-198 lb the 8241-06 is near the ceiling of what Kromer builds at 6.6 ft of travel. If you need the same capacity with half again the reach, the 8251 frame carries it at 9.8 ft. Encapsulated spring, closed ball bearings both sides and the patented freewheel are standard here. Ordered as 7241-06 before the renumbering.
