The Kromer 7200-01 is a tool retractor for tools weighing 0.7-3.3 lb - for example electric screwdrivers or small inline drivers - and works equally with any other tool in that weight range. A retractor is not a zero-gravity balancer: retraction force increases as the cable is pulled out, so the tool comes to hand easily and then returns to its initial position when released - keeping it off the bench and out of the way between operations.

The 7200 is the lightest-duty frame Kromer builds. It uses a light-duty spring hook, has no locking mechanism, and no ratchet-lock version.
