The Kromer 8241-01 is an INOX PRO rust-free zero-gravity tool balancer for tools weighing 26.4-44 lb - for example heavy nutrunners or process tooling - and works equally with any other tool or fixture in that weight range. Constant retraction force means the tool floats weightless and stays exactly where the operator leaves it across the full 6.6 ft of cable travel, rather than being pulled back to a start position.

Built for washdown areas - meat and poultry processing, dairy, beverage and other food-industry lines that are hosed down at shift change - where a standard painted or plated unit corrodes and fails.

The 8241 frame starts here. At 26.4-44 lb this model overlaps the top of the lighter 8235 range, but in a heavier-duty body: pressure-cast aluminium housing and drum, closed ball bearings on both sides and an encapsulated spring rather than an open one. Worth the step up if the line runs hard all shift. Ordered as 7241-01 before Kromer renumbered the series.
