The Kromer 8235-03 (legacy number 7235-03) is a zero-gravity tool balancer for tools weighing 77-99 lb - for example spot-welding guns or heavy assembly fixtures - and works equally with any other tool or fixture in that weight range. Constant retraction force means the tool floats weightless and stays exactly where the operator leaves it across the full 6.6 ft of cable travel, rather than being pulled back to a start position.

The 8235 steps up from the plastic-bodied 8230 to a chill-cast aluminium housing and drum running on closed ball bearings, which is what carries the higher load. Load is set by endless screw. Order the Type 8236 instead if you need the ratchet lock that parks the tool at a set height.
