The Kromer 8241-04 is an INOX PRO rust-free zero-gravity tool balancer for tools weighing 99-132 lb - for example heavy process tooling - and works equally with any other tool or fixture in that weight range. Constant retraction force means the tool floats weightless and stays exactly where the operator leaves it across the full 6.6 ft of cable travel, rather than being pulled back to a start position.

Built for washdown areas - meat and poultry processing, dairy, beverage and other food-industry lines that are hosed down at shift change - where a standard painted or plated unit corrodes and fails.

At 99-132 lb the 8241-04 handles process tooling that would need two people to position unaided. The patented freewheel matters at this weight: if the spring is released during adjustment it stops the drum over-rotating rather than letting it run. Cable overload protection is fitted as standard. Ordered as 7241-04 before the renumbering.
