The Kromer 8241-03 is an INOX PRO rust-free zero-gravity tool balancer for tools weighing 66-99 lb - for example heavy handling fixtures - and works equally with any other tool or fixture in that weight range. Constant retraction force means the tool floats weightless and stays exactly where the operator leaves it across the full 6.6 ft of cable travel, rather than being pulled back to a start position.

Built for washdown areas - meat and poultry processing, dairy, beverage and other food-industry lines that are hosed down at shift change - where a standard painted or plated unit corrodes and fails.

At 66-99 lb the 8241-03 is past the point where an operator can comfortably reposition a tool by hand, which is where the constant retraction force earns its keep - the load stays put instead of drifting. Note that the 8241 has no rust-free ratchet-lock variant of its own; if you need a locking drum at this capacity, the 8236 frame covers up to 121 lb. Ordered as 7241-03 before the renumbering.
