The EV1 is sized for Level 2 chargers with output from 48A to 80A and charging cables 16 to 25 ft long - the heavier cables that come with hardwired home chargers, workplace chargers and fleet bays. It holds 4.5 to 9 lb (2 to 4 kg) of cable up off the floor and pulls it back when you hang the connector, so the cable stays clean and dry and never ends up under a tire.

The housing is powder-coated galvanized steel for indoor or outdoor mounting - wall, pedestal or ceiling - and the 10 ft Dyneema rope won't scratch the car. Retraction force adjusts with the included wrench, so you can match it to your exact cable.
