The TECNA 72966/2,5 is an 8.2 ft (2,500 mm) stainless steel extension cable for the TECNA 9336L-9350 retractors, and for any other balancer in the same load range: 1.1 to 30.9 lb (0.5 to 14 kg).

Use it when the retractor is mounted higher than the tool needs to hang: it lowers the tool's working position, and the retractor's cable travel stays exactly the same.

Cable travel is how far the tool moves while the work is being done, so choose the retractor for the job and the extension for the height of the steel. Buying more travel to cover a high mounting point is the wrong fix.
