Description

Tecna manufactures a complete range of tool balancers and tool retractors covering weights from 0.5 lbs to 397 lbs, available with a cable length ranging from 5.3 feet to 9.8 feet. Tool balancers are mainly used with electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools. The principle of operation involves suspending the tool on a cable, which is attached to a spring mechanism, allowing the lowering and raising of the tool during the operation. The weight of the tool is neutralized by the lifting capacity of the balancer's spring. To select the appropriate balancer, we need to know the exact weight of the suspended tool. Another advantage of using balancers is a significant reduction in accidental equipment damage and a considerable increase in work safety. Tecna's tool balancers are manufactured in accordance with DIN 15112 standard. Tool balancers are also produced in ATEX certification, allowing them to be used in environments containing explosive gas and dust. Tecna also manufactures custom balancers per customer's specifications.

TECNA balancers are high quality and demonstrate their durability even in extreme working conditions, such as heavy-duty applications in the meat industry, and outdoor environments, as well as extremely repetitive, frequent applications in tool suspension on assembly lines, where long lifespan translates to higher production rates.

TECNA was the first to develop a dedicated line for ATEX Certification, suitable for use in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres consisting of flammable gases or materials.

Over 6,000,000 TECNA balancers have been manufactured. TECNA sells an average of over 160,000 balancers annually, with over 300 different models and the possibility of further customization. One of the most comprehensive ranges of products available on the market, with a load range of up to 396 lbs and a cable travel of up to 14.8 feet. Over 2000 hours of research and development work are dedicated annually to product development for balancers. 4 registered patents. 3 new patents are pending. All balancers are manufactured in accordance with DIN 15112 directive. All TECNA PRODUCTS undergo thorough testing to ensure maximum safety and performance over time.

A destructive load guarantee is provided, amounting to at least 5 times the declared maximum load for all sensitive parts.

TECNA balancers are manufactured in Italy according to the highest quality standards, built with durability in mind, and designed to assist in work with the best performance and ergonomics. They make the user's life better. TECNA balancers are essential for eliminating operator fatigue and injuries, increasing productivity by reducing cycle times, and improving production quality. TECNA balancers protect tools, hoses, and cables, thereby increasing their lifespan and productivity.

The available products have strokes as little as 51” or as much as 118”, giving you movement flexibility. Pick a typical tool retractor or use a more sophisticated zero-balancer balancer. The latter retains a solid aluminum exterior with stainless steel cables. In addition, the strokes are within typical workshop ranges. You can get options like Dyneema and polypropylene instead of stainless steel cables. They may include friction breaks or not. Nevertheless, they are high-quality and ready for installation in your workshop. Tool balancers are necessary for workshops amd assembly lines to increase productivity and reduce worker fatigue. You can get those with simple hook mechanisms to attach to overhead supports. The simple retractors can connect bolts, nuts, or shackles to overhead supports.
